Rose Quartz Facials

So after going on my Quartz Spa Training with Crystal Clear I have been researching into crystals, paying particular attention to Rose Quartz. In all our Quartz Spa treatment rituals it involves massage with rose quartz palm stones.

With facials and skin being my ultimate passion, i decided to look at rose quartz facial rollers that I could use in facials more freely than the palm stones. On researching the facial rollers I found that they were quite popular and I came across many reviews and blogs about them.

After researching the many benefits of the facial rollers I decided to incorporate the facial rollers into our NEW Rose Quartz Facial. This will include all the fabulous Crystal Clear Skincare, Quartz Spa products aswell rose quartz palm stones and the facial roller.

Before we go into detail about the Facial let’s just talk about the history & benefits of Rose Quartz Crystal.

History

There are a number of legends surrounding rose quartz and its power of love and reconciliation, but I’d like to pay particular attention to a Egyptian legend and goddess Isis. Isis used rose quartz to maintain her divine youth and beauty and it is said that the goddess would gather rose quartz crystals by the Nile River and use them to keep her skin clear & wrinkle free. It has also been reported that facial masks made of rose quartz have been found in tombs of ancient Egypt.

On a spiritual level rose quartz is a love stone. Is is famous for attracting and keeping love, not just from others, but for oneself by oneself. Commonly known for their powerful vibrations to heal the heart from sentiments of lost love, anger, resentment and jealousy.

Also believed to lower stress, raise self-esteem, restore confidence and balance emotions

Benefits

  • Packed with minerals magnesium, iron and oxygen that help reduce inflammation and support renewal of skin cells.
  • Tones facial muscles
  • Stimulates detoxification
  • Aid absorption of skincare
  • Reduction of undereye puffiness and dark circles
  • Improve appearance of clearer skin

How to use

There are two different ways to use the rollers to either:

1.  Give a detoxifying affect- gently rolling towards the ears to help drain the lymph nodes

2. Give a Rejuvenating affect – by applying a medium to firm pressure with the roller moving in an upwards direction.

Rose quartz facial

In our NEW Rose Quartz Facial our main focus is on wellbeing and relaxation. We start the treatment with a lifestyle questionnaire then move onto the sensory part (which I love as this bit is so individual to each person) client smells the three blends of quartz spa oils-

Happiness – pure zesty sunshine, a truly beautiful uplifting happy aromatherapy blend containing Sweet Orange, Grapefruit and sandalwood.

Energise- free the mind & body whilst rebalancing the emotions with this detoxifying aromatherapy blend. It utilises the powerful cleansing, theraputic properties of juniper, grapefruit and lemon, combining them with balancing clary sage and bay laurel.

Hope- a bewitching, sensual and luxurious aromatherapy blend that merges clarifying spearmint with vanilla. Add in sweet orange, balancing geranium, crisp sharp and citrus lime and the endless benefits of petitgrain.

After smelling all the three blends the client chooses their favourite, we then go onto use that blend throughout the treatment including spraying the room with that fragrance. Before treatment commences a gem elixir is consumed then we start the facial by deep cleansing then exfoliating. Whilst the mask is on the face we preform a 10 minute crystal cleanse. After this we then preform the massage (with the chosen aromatherapy blend) of the shoulders and face with the rose quartz palm stones and facial roller. We then moisturise & finish the treatment with a spritz of the chosen aromatherapy blend on the skin.

A full glass of the gem elixir is then consumed and we then talk through any skincare and lifestyle recommendations.
